The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced their minor league coaching staffs on Monday afternoon, naming former MLB catcher Adam Melhuse as the new Burlington Bees manager. Adam Melhuse joins the Angels organization after working as an advanced scout for the Chicago Cubs after retiring from playing in 2009.

Here is a list of managers who made their debut with the Bees along with their record while in Burlington:

Chad Tracy (2015)- 63-76

Lorenzo Bundy (1993-94)- 119-153

Tim Tolman (1991)- 67-70

Rudy Jaramillo (1984)-51-88

Marty Scott (1982)-63-75

Terry Bevington (1981)- 54-81

Duane Espy  (1979-80)-123-155

Lee Sigman (1978)-69-69

Dennis Menke (1977)-71-68

Rene Lacheman (1973-74)-115-123

Jim Hughes (1968)-48-68

Dennis Menke of course won the Midwest League title in his first year as a manger with the 1977 Burlington Bees, then a Milwaukee Brewers affiliate.

Out of the 13 manager who made their debut with the Bees, Terry Bevington was the youngest at 24 years old.

Lorenzo Bundy went on to manage the Bees for two seasons and most recently was the Dodgers third base coach.
